Ex-Nigeria coach Samson Siasia has joined the clamour for Nigeria to cap Manchester City starlet Kelechi Iheanacho because he is good enough to play for the Eagles.
Iheanacho has already been capped at U20 and U17 levels.
He is presently training with MLS club Colombus Crew and will be loaned out by City in January.
And Siasia told AfricanFootball.com the forward, who will be 18 next month, can make the grade at full international level now.
"I think he is good to go for the Eagles," Siasia said.
"He's been to Man City's training tours. We saw how well he blended with the big boys at City.
"So, I think if they gave him a chance to be a part of this present Super Eagles with everyone lamenting that the team lack creativity in the middle of the park, I think he would do a good job."
Siasia added: "If you see the collection of players at Man City, you would agree that they are world-class, Yaya Toure, Edin Dzeko, Sergio Aguero name them, and the young lad fitted in and even scored.
“For me, I think if he were given a chance in the Eagles, he would do well.”
